   Last time I went to Juma the Imam railed against conservative groups who try to court muslims to vote conservative by tricking them into believing that opposition to gay marriage and socially divisive issues are part of their cultural identity. It's actually a pretty fucked up thing, there are actually so few conservatives aligned with muslim groups they have no idea how to cater a platform to them or even what they stand for and the Imam at the Masjid I go to seems semi proud of this fact but more just concerned about conservative ideals festering by interlopers.
