They didn't take into account how prohibitively expensive licenses were for those markets, so major businesses started looking at options for moving to lunix or another open source OS and Microsoft backpedaled hard before it could turn into a trend

If they had any science besides IQ it might mean something. But there's no standardized IQ test, and its highly dependent on education and largely regarded as an outdated method for measuring intelligence. Basically the same as phrenology. -
