My mom saves every plastic container, condiment and bit of food she possibly can. She saves the foil off butter to grease pans and saves shoeboxes and basically anything she can't use she donates. I love her for it, she grew up poor af in the poorest and whitest city in the country and didn't lose those ideals. Having a mother that's a spendthrift is a positive trait to teach a future generation, it's basically the opposite of being entitled. There's a humility that follows some women throughout their life that's a really beautiful and positive thing. There are so many women who lack perspective it sickens me and makes me want to exploit them. Older women have souls too, that can't be matched by 4 fat girls singing pussycat dolls karaoke and wearing 6 shades of eyeliner and drinking drinks that is not the natural color of the alcoholic beverage to trick them into thinking their temporary happiness and comfort isn't substance induced. I'm grateful my GF was able to grow up so quickly and gain such a perspective beyond her years, it's frustrating at times and I wish she could "unlearn" some things that are bullshit or hard to "uningrain" but it's an overall positive thing.

But in ye olden times pork carried the same parasites as humans because they would be fed from toilet troughs, then their flesh would bear those parasites and the uncooked meat, when consumed, would spread parasites. Basically one pig would have years to accumulate human parasites and disease then everyone who are it would get fucked unless it was cooked to kill the parasites and bacteria.

My dad had a trough like that growing up but lord, everyone knows you don't actually eat that pig. Especially uncooked? I don't think anyone was stupid enough to eat uncooked/uncured meat back then.
Pigs are actually one of the cleanest animals. They don't sweat and have been known to wash food before eating it. It's humans who turn them filthy.
