This is a question that deserves answer.
In short, my view is that we have to become incrementally smarter. There is no way around it, we need to become mathematical geniuses. x(squared)? You should know this.
On the other hand we need to display devotion to pure mathematics as well, which is cool too. Evolution takes multiple generations to accomplish.
So maybe not worry so much, and instead worry about supporting each other for now? Maybe the point isn't evolution. It's the allies we will make along the way.
So as to paraphrase one of my recent excuses for being late to work unable to respond. But outside of the cities, we Europeans all find ourselves in the same basket. Overworked, and our circumstances not taken into account. -
