   Damn, the guy that made Pokémon Fuligin got the difficulty absolutely fucking perfect. It's much more difficult/more strategy required than the vanilla games but it's not so difficult that you have to sit there and grind constantly.

   Fuck, Dragonite is a pain in the dick to raise.
   
   Dratini has the constitution of watered shit and Dragonair isn't much better.
   
   And it takes until level 55 before it evolves, 90% of the way through all official pokemon games.
   
   On top of that he has a very slow growth curve. Exp Share helps a bit but in the official games there are no good places to train after you hit level 50+
