2019-09-28 at 2:58 PM UTCAn abuse of power must also involve a crime. The Constitution plainly reads a crime must be involved. Not only a crime, a conviction of said crime. Don't pay any attention to what the anti-Constitution nutjobs ponder, the Constitution is written in such a way that even a child can understand its meaning.

You are right about the concept but wrong about the legal term as you are about Trump being guilty of;
25 CFR § 11.448 - Abuse of office
§ 11.448 Abuse of office.
A person acting or purporting to act in an official capacity or taking advantage of such actual or purported capacity commits a misdemeanor if, knowing that his or her conduct is illegal, he or she:
(a) Subjects another to arrest, detention, search, seizure, mistreatment, dispossession, assessment, lien or other infringement of personal or property rights; or
(b) Denies or impedes another in the exercise or enjoyment of any right, privilege, power or immunity.
The phone call transcript clearly proves beyond any doubt that Trump is not in violation of anything under this code. -
2019-09-28 at 4:09 PM UTCWhy are the Republican sources so garbage and irrelevant
You talk about the sky
They post sources telling you about the color of the grass

interesting
the form issued by the ODNI to grant political protection to whistleblowers was updated literally days before the Ukraine claim was made. Previously it only allowed protection for 'whistleblowers' who had/released direct evidence of wrongdoing; the change now allows for hearsay and second-hand information.
The fact that the change made this complaint explicitly possible indicates either an unlikely coincidence, the complaint being highly opportunistic or this whole thing being preplanned at a higher level. -

Is that really so surprising considering the whistleblower was working for the CIA? -
2019-09-29 at 3:51 AM UTChah, not surprising at all, it just points to this being another fabricated/overhyped attack on trump from the 'intelligence community'

That claim is completely unfounded.
Fact of the matter is that the Trump administration hid these transcripts during the Mueller investigation on a private server, and open abuse of power has already been admitted and later denied by Trump himself. Remember, the Ukraine transcript is already out.

Also:
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-49860079In the letter, the committees said they were investigating "the extent to which President Trump jeopardized national security by pressing Ukraine to interfere with our 2020 election and by withholding security assistance provided by Congress to help Ukraine counter Russian aggression".
They added that the subpoena was issued because Mr Pompeo had failed to comply with demands to provide relevant documents.
They said his refusal "impairs Congress' ability to fulfil its constitutional responsibilities to protect our national security and the integrity of our democracy".
This is plain shady as fuck. Trump has already deleted documents against court orders before

So really, anybody who believes this is just some witch hunt shit has had the wool pulled over their eyes.
