We pay the rent, the issue here is that our landlord took an old decrepit piece of shit and has been renting it out to people for a near premium price without having done a single thing to improve the quality of the house.
She got mad at my mom for telling her she hasn't done anything to improve the quality of the house after the landlady complained about people coming and then leaving sooner after, and then told us that she "has" put money into the place because she bought a fridge.
The place is literally falling apart and each time I run the sweeper it picks up fibers from the carpet, the cunt hasn't done a single thing (literally) to improve the actual quality of the building because she's a cheap and lazy cunt.
Look at the photo I posted, the place is literally falling apart.
And when I asked her how much she wanted for the place she got all shitty with me and said that she didn't need to tell me.
She's a scammer who bought an old abandoned house and is renting it out to people for a price well beyond what it's actually worth living here.

I'm being honest here. In San Francisco, price a monthly private garage. 800 bucks I think is the going rate. Even a public parking lot where cars get broken into cost 40 bucks a day on game day and about 30 bucks on normal days. that would be at least 900 bucks -

it actually does kind of make sense, probably not closer to 300 but closer to 700. If you drive outside of austin and go out in the boonies an hour away theres a lot of poor people that pay that.
