   I guess you can make a parallel to religions that believe in a Hell. I mean look how feverent those dudes get trying to avoid endless torture and agony. A lot of people who are converted apparently get really hard into it because they're like "oh shit I have to atone". Like that General Butt Naked dude who snorted clandestine amphetamines with teenagers and ran naked into battle with an AK47 and ate babies cut out of pregnant women, then became a pastor.

   I'm just saying it would be peculiar here on earth if we all knew we were going to hell, so to speak. How we would raise our kids.. would we even continue to have them ? How fucking selfish would that be .

    There was a movie where a guy dies and wakes up in the first level of purgatory, is annoyed and kills himself and wakes up in a shittier purgatory, kills himself again and comes to realize he doesn't want a worst version of living. Anyone remember the name? Maybe 20 years of newer..independent film but not real low budget.. Kind of like the beatlejuise waiting room scene. It's a comedy
