That's ackxchooally sounds more similar to Islam where you sleep for a number of days after you die and are with your own thoughts while your deeds are weighed and your fate is determined -

When you die the First Death, you're not really gone. You're just suspended in memory. Suspended in time. Your consciousness is merely asleep, but not yet dead. You can be brought back at any time. The Second Death, reserved for traitors to mankind and God, is where you're gone forever, and nobody can bring you back. But even the evil ones will have the First Death. -

The only thing he's interested in is what you are right now. What your heart condition is right now. God can read the heart, and there's no hiding anything. You could have done good deeds all your life and still be wicked, and he would know that. You could have done wicked things all your life and still be good, and he will know that. God never holds your past against you, as long as your heart ends up being good in the end. But time is running out, and it's running out very fast now.
