Was taking a shower and remembered that a big part of rhabdo is electrolytes being extremely out of whack... mine was potassium, but I don't believe HIGH sodium is usually a cause, unless you eat too much salt on accident perhaps, which ruins your kidneys, which would be a slow death.
I don't know the exact or general science of it, but I'm sure he knew what he was doing. I disagree with aldra, I think he had to have chosen sodium nitrite to cover up his intent..., which is a moderate possibility with that chemical. Pento is 600 bucks and a long time to get delivered, but you take enough different downers and you're gonna die son.
Unfortunately for him (I guess?), coroners usually find the correct answers.
