Apparently most of what was sold as Naphyrone was just a mix including things like "MDPV, flephedrone, mephedrone, butylone and caffeine". I'm feeling gently simulated, it's quite pleasant, not euphoric or anything though. I'll keep upping the dose.
Also I paid for 10g, but this bag weighs 34g, so I guess moisture must have gotten in.
Careful with the mdpv lol that shit gets craaaaazy. Prolly not much in there though. -
2018-04-15 at 1:49 AM UTCThe vape worked quite well at about 360°F, it left behind a resudual poweder than I just licked up. Feeling nicely buzzed nwo.

No different than buying drugs tbh
OP: at least do low dose allergy tests or something first. Have you ever sold drugs at any point in life? Could you have cut it up for selling and then left it alone or forgot about it? -
2018-04-15 at 12:39 PM UTCThis fucking thread
“Hey guize I found some weird powder in a drawer from 8 years ago! Going through my emails, it could be one of 5 different drugs. Or baking soda. Should I snort it, or stick it up my ass?” -

most drugs you have a fair idea what you are buying, can presume they're fairly fresh and haven't potentially gotten damp over the last 8 years and become a breeding ground for all sorts of bacteria or god knows what else.

2018-04-15 at 12:51 PM UTCsome of that compound could have chemically altered in that time and become deadly poisonous.

No, I don't sell drugs, officer.
I bought it at the time as it was legal in the UK, and forgot about it. It was marketed in the email as NRG-1 (Naphyrone). Wikipedia says the products marketed as NRG-1 are seldom actual Naphyrone, so I'm confused - but as old and mysterious as the powder is it gave me a pleasant high, and this morning everything looks so much brighter, so whatever. -

It's actually incredibly easy to synthesize. stupid noob was arguing with me about that in IRC once, what a dummy
He was acting like it's super rare. A shitload of people have been using 4mar all along thinking it was just really good meth.
EDIT: and it's entirely OTC, no problems with contaminants. But it's known to cause pulmonary hypertension***. Not good. You'll feel it too, when that happens. -

I'd say the limiting factor in synthesizing it is the cost. It can be expensive depending on which route you go. But depending on your sources for different things, it can also be pretty cheap. If you had some source for norephedrine and didn't have to make it yourself it would be a lot easier. There is a few...

A cheap nitroethane source would make this easier, or go the LPAC route. I don't really care enough to research all that anymore. I used to have a lot of good notes on this subject. Most of the chemicals used are pretty cheap though, it's just a few that might be expensive. -

2019-09-08 at 8:35 PM UTC"Hydroxylamine was first prepared as hydroxylamine hydrochloride in 1865 by the German chemist Wilhelm Clemens Lossen (1838-1906); he reacted tin and hydrochloric acid in the presence of ethyl nitrate."
"Ethyl nitrate can be prepared by nitrating ethanol with fuming nitric acid or a mixture of concentrated sulfuric and nitric acids. Further purifying by distillation carries a risk of explosion."
Sounds familiar.
so easy
"The reaction is pretty much:
Heat toluene to 90'C. Slowly add equal amount (weight)
of Ca(OCl)2 (pool shock), and raise temperature to
100'-105'C, leaving it there 1 hour or until reaction
complete. Settle. Decant of oil.
This oil contains 30-35% benzyl chloride and 65-70%
toluene.
However, We don't want benzyl chloride, do we? We want
BENZAL chloride. The patent goes on to describe that if
sufficient amount of Ca(OCl)2 is added, the toluene is
completely converted to Benzal Chloride and
Benzo Trichloride. Upon boiling in alkaline water, we
get Benzaldehyde and Benzoic acid. Voila."
EDIT: starting to look like reductive amination of LPAC would be the easiest route
If any of you would like to explain how I'm wrong rather than hurling insults the way a monkey flings poo, feel free.
