Yes medicaid, not medicare.
Basically I do have free health insurance but coverage is shit. Just did a root canal out of pocket out of necessity and now I'm going to have to beg for the money back. Which I'm sure will be exactly as painful as the actual tooth itself was.
Thankfully not even the far right want to take this away from me. Guess being born with shit organs is worth something -

Don't take it for granted. When hydro's dog bit me, "Do you want me to stitch it up for you?" was a serious thing i considered. People literally have died trying to avoid hospital bills, even with insurance. I'm still in debt over this because my insurance wouldn't cover anything out of state. -

She keeps standing at the bottom of my bed just staring at me. I wanna say, “What do you want?”. But, I know she’s just confused. Sometimes it gets pretty funny.

No shit? Medicaid replaced a crown for me, for free. And they cover my meds. -

They kept wanting to send me to a specialist because the root on that tooth was pretty curved. I went to two dentists on my insurance and they did the same shit. After that i cant really get another exam you know? You can't just doctor hop as you please. It's limited before insurance stops paying and they told me i had to wait another 6mo before seeing a new dentist. Got some cavities done on it tho.
The specialists were both (yes there was only two) over an hour away and open only from like 8-3 M-F, which made it impossible for me to actually get there as i dont have a car anymore.
Plenty of endontists in my area they just aren't covered.
So I decided to pay for it myself because it's been way too long dealing with this shit tooth. Apparently i can get reimbursed but I'm not holding my breath.

Usually yeah. No co-pays is nice. But we still need a NHS where you can go to any doctor free of charge. -
