Your favorite games of the decade? (2010s retrospective)

It was so sad when we got to it. I was on chemo at the time, and I cried when my dude got shot.

It was a lovely summer's evening, and my mom had been watching me play the horsey game for like 2 months.

And I was like "aww, that's so sad, and she was like "aww that's so sad" and it was sort of a bonding moment.

And then I was resurrected as the original horsey dude's son or something, never really bothered too much after that.

    Great game though.

You should really play the second one. I was upset when first hearing you dont get to play as John, but I absolutely love the main character far more in the second one after playing. It is my top favorite game now. They sure out did themselves.

    HTS highlight reel
    In no particular order:
    Crusader Kings 2
    Pillars of Eternity
    Fallout: New Vegas
    Far Cry 3
    Stardew Valley

I wanted to include The Sims 3 but it came out in 2009 apparently.

The single player is fine, not the best but not the worst.

The multiplayer is not very fun.

no singleplayer is boring and formulaic
They are literally releasing the same exact game every five years just with a new coat of paint.
San Andreas was the last great GTA

I really enjoy the STALKER series. Playing Shadow of Chernobyl right now high as fuck on meth, the game engine is glitching the fuck out and i'm afraid it's gonna crash sometimes, it really feels like you are playing something made in Communist Ukraine.

The first game doesn't have as much depth as Call Of Pripyat because a lot of the content was cut, but in my opinion it has the best map in all of the games. It's lots of fun just walking around chilling with stalkers in the different areas and shooting stuff, exploring.

Clear Sky is even buggier and prone to crashing which sucks but adds a certain amount of charm. It's like an unstable experimental game that has so much random insane cool shit that it can barely handle the cool.

Call of Pripyat is just an amazing game in every aspect, I dislike the map and locations in the game but thats what mods are for. Stalker has an awesome mod community that has mods for all the games and even mods that connect all the game maps from all 3 games.

Stalker is fucking awesome, my favourite is Call of Pripyat. I instantly slay the fire anomaly guys, take their anomaly, then go to the ring of fire for that one with lots of antirad vodka. Great series.

It would be my favorite if they had the old areas from the other games :( it sucks I can't chill with Freedom in Army Warehouses

i cant understand people who play and prefer games for their story. i prefer skipping all dialog so i can have something to do. when playing at maximum difficulty, Insanity mode in mass effect 2, each task actually requires a substantial amount of n-genesis and n-plasticity to be able to overcome

if you play mass effect for story maybe the first one does do the best, but for people who don't like to actually immerse themselves in mass-produced imagination, ME2 has the most AdIcTtInG gameplay, and ME3 has the most professionally designed gameplay

the controller responsiveness and fluidity of gameplay in ME1 is nauseating, just like how the witcher 1 almost makes you dizzy to play. if you're not paying attention to any narrative imposed on you, then ME1 is sickeningly slow, unresponsive, and clumsy to play
