Originally posted by DietPiano Oh my God, fuck you so much. ME1's story was as good as any of em, but the combat was pretty sad and spending half the game driving this shitty buggy that can't climb for shit over a barren planets is not fun. It was all in all decent though and very good for it's time.
ME2 was better in every way and really fun, the resources gathering thing got pretty old though.
MEe I think might be my favorite by just a bit over 2. People who hate 3 don't know the difference between a plot twist and a plot ruiner.
Andromeda was so bad I quit playing as soon as I got to the citadel or whatever. I'm sure I'll give another chance but those new systems are gonna take a while to learn, my screen was too small to read the menus before.
What exactly did 2 improve? Added ammo which fucked the weapons, limited your choice in weapons, limited the best ar to a hard level quest for tali, got rid of planets, got rid of you, got rid of most of the stuff you did in 1.
And 3 was straight fucking garbage, all your choices through the series coming to a 3 option colour coded ending that was exactly the same in all 3 and more than that was based on a number that required you to play multiplayer for it to mean anything, also locked the most important character in any of the games behind dlc.

2019-08-22 at 5:48 PM UTCMass effect 1 was such a hype game it's a classic
2 was a good sequel
Then I bought mass effect 3 one day while I was depressed hoping a classic series I love would bring me out of my funk. Oh boy a rail shooter section! Just like call of duty! -

If you think an entire 60 hour game is ruined because of an ending you aren't a fan of then you come across as a frothy 15 year old redditor who can't adapt from the happy happy ending they feel they're entitled to, and that the entire game is ruined because 1 out 60 hours wasn't to their taste. -

It's not just the ending of the game, it's the ending of a trilogy that promised all your choices would count, and ME3 besides was just ME2 but worse which I already said was shit itself.
And besides which they changed the ending because nobody liked it, which means you're in the minority even according to the devs themselves.
I couldn't care less if it were a sad ending but sad and bad aren't the same thing, none of your actions mattered and it didn't make sense at all.
But enjoy your ghost kid that Shep wouldn't have really thought about instead of Ashley or Kaiden that you sent to their deaths in the first game, ones that would have actually mattered.

Also didn't say the DLCs were bad, I said the most important character in any of the games was locked behind one and I think it was D1DLC too.
You're only replying cause you're trying to convince yourself it was better than it was, there'd be no need to reply if you had no doubt. -
2019-08-22 at 9:15 PM UTCI mean, are you really going to ignore that the combat was fun as hell in that game and the environments and visuals were awesome? Some of the best I have seen, especially on a xbox 360
I dunno gont, I think the ending was fine before dlc and very fair to the gAmrZ after the DLC. It may not have been the best but it's not enough to say "This game is shit" because of one aspect of it to me.
I guess if you don't like ME2 it makes sense you won't like ME3, but I don't understand how you can straight up not like those games if you like the first one. I know some people like ME1 combat better, I personally despise it enough to play on easiest difficulty, but are you really going to pretend that driving around for hours in that fricken' buggy is "fun" or wholesome? Maybe if you do a basic playthrough without trying to get the extra war assests. -
2019-08-22 at 9:18 PM UTCnobody here wants to play space with me :(

The buggy was fun, don't know why trouble people had with it, the cannon on it was great.
And without having to worry about ammo the combat was more fun too, and environment and visuals you had better in 1 cause you actually had planets to go to. -
2019-08-23 at 12:10 PM UTCI don't think you played the same games as me. Mass Effect 3 was mpstly planets and they were awesome looking
And... 2 I think, albeit less, but my mind is hazy -

Yeah we obviously did cause I don't remember random planets in 3, not that you could get around them if there was with no mako. -

Red dead redemption is arguably my favorite game, top 5 for sure. Haven't played the 2nd one yet.
The plot is one we've never seen before; a drama about how the Federalization of America ruined it.
