It's from a letter, because they were anti-jesus. Most Jews I've met have been decent people (with very loose morals) but when it comes to Jesus, they can't stand the guy. And they claim he was a Jew, but he wasn't. The people of Nazareth didn't practice that religion, and he was AB negative. They said he was from bethleham only because of prophecy, he was actually entirely Nazarene. So Israeli, but not of that religion.
