2019-08-20 at 12:34 AM UTCDo you know why I said to put a bigger fuse in the circuit?

Originally posted by Jiggaboo_Johnson They also act as running lights I guess, hence the two elements. The top one is very bright…so bright I can't tell if it's lighting both. ON the right side which is working fine it's just very bright.
The left one is the dim/fast one…i can see on that one only the lower smaller element is flashing…so it's like the bulb is in the wrong way but there is only 1 way it can go in.
It is a "normal" bulb in that it's the exact bulb the manufacturer recommends.
increased rate of blinking is the result of decreased resistance in the circuitry, check all four sides. -

This morning in the dark I did some further inspection.
Sure enough the bulb seems to be reversed...in that when I put the running lights on it's brighter than the "good" side...and when I turn the blinker on it's dimmer and faster.
So the conclusion surely is the bulb IS in the wrong way...I'm perplexed though because it only seems to fit in one way...though clearly the evidence points to the fact it IS in the wrong way.
I'll have to take it out again (which btw is a complete pain in the ass to get too) and try again. -

how is that even possible ?
those bulbs were designed in such a way that tards cant put them in the wrong way round. -

Well exactly...it would only go in one way...All I can think is the actual socket itself is in the wrong way or maybe that side of my vehicle is operating in a parallel universe where everything is reserved. -
2019-08-21 at 7:49 PM UTCFixed.
Last night I took the socket and bulb out of the right one and put it in the left one, and put the left one in the right one...and it worked...still non-the-wiser. -
