   Not true. Silk Rd 3.0 is alive n well. My betabay order arrived this week in 3 days and the quality of the FS was great. While I was doin it up, I was waiting to hear a knock on the door but all was well.

   I'm pretty sure the new SR is untrustworthy. I remember somebody else nabbed it up after the original went down. Well, a few people did. It's best to stick to markets that are trustworthy today.

   Possibly correct. They do offer escrow though I thought I read. As far as I am concerned, I am sold on beta. They gave me free escrow and the stuff arrived safe, stealthy and on time. Quality was top notch too......I feel like such a noob for just discovering this. Lol.

    generally they don't bother going after small buyers unless they're relentlessly dumb with personal info, but larger buyers get targeted to try to press them for contacts.
    
    there are a few established and somewhat trusted markets around, no need to take risks without either doing proper research or waiting for independent verification
