   As a kid, I used to play marbles with a couple of other kids, and this one kid, Chris, every time he'd lose one of his favorite marbles in the game, like a cat's-eye, he'd literally grab all his marbles and stomp off, and we'd call out to him hey it's just a game, but he'd just keep looking forward and walk away. But he kept coming back to lose more.

   For me the short term enjoyment isn't worth the detrimental effects and for the amount of money I would spend on X amount of alcohol I can get a variety of different drugs which are much more pleasurable to consume than ethanol.
   
   My recent use of psychedelics and microdosing has really steered me away from harmful substances like alcohol and has made me more aware and conscious of my general diet and what I'm putting in my body.

    Alcohol is kinda silly. Think of all the retarded people that drink it. That don't amount to shit. It's that much harder when people drink alcohol. Even if you're financially successful and feel like you've earned it, your body isn't at its best when you drink.

    It's just that a lot of people really can't handle real life, so they need some way to just forcibly block it all out. They don't want to actually kill themselves, but they want to shut down their brains, for however long they can. They're weak and can't deal with the hardships of life.
