Question to the homeless

I have a friend/acquaintance who recently became homeless. He posts his drama on Facebook and basically acts like a victim. When I offer helpful advice (in response to when he asks questions), he ignores it.

Question to those of you who are homeless. Do you feel like a victim, or do you choose this lifestyle? Why or why not?

I should mention that this guy has mentioned before that he has autism and I genuinely think he has some kind of mental illness. He seems to have bipolar disorder, but possibly also some post-traumatic stress disorder due to how often he refers to the pain and abuse in his past.

Not such thing as homeless people. Planet Earth is all our home...with the moon soon to be our vacation cabin.

The vast majority of these people don't even actually have any illness at all, unless you want to call brattery, laziness, thoughtlessness, entitlement and low intelligence a disease.

Its actually pretty impressive to be homeless. It's ironic you could say, that homeless people somehow have stronger wills than others. It's both easy, and difficult, to do nothing. But homeless people eat and drink and shit and laugh and cry like the rest of us. Day after day. Making a living not having a job is kind of impressive, regardless of their source of monies.

I think laziness may be a mental illness. Most homeless people are sociopathic. Nobody can really help them but themselves, or whoever is willing to eliminate their supply of drugs so they're forced to sober up.

What a bold statement. I think everything may be a mental illness. Being alive, mental illness.

I was thinking about how to make money and get off Jeff's shitlist

And how to make sure my truck didn't get towed so I wouldnt be the next level homeless down. Getting creative like Bill Clinton college years of finding a tree to throw a mattress up in it came down to it. No one ( including Christians) were taking me in. Oddly one company called me for a Job. After that it was driving. But those companies are hard up for drivers so no ban list from them

This dude posts the other day:

“When you are are homeless and have nothing to do you have 2 things to do 1 is chill in the park on a Hot ass day or 2 hold a sign on a hot ass day“

I wanted to say or 3 go get a job. He refuses to get a job but then complains about not having money for rent or food. And now he complains about not having anything to do? Get off it.

The best place to go when you’re broke is to work.

Entities won't hire you if they find out you're homeless. You need a mailing address, dude.

Even the slightest bit of critical thinking here would do you wonders. 1, you didn't even say it to give him the opportunity to ignore or argue it, you "wanted" to say it. 2, Nigga you are retarded, everything costs in this world. You can't go from bum living in a park to getting a job and back onto your feet with nothing more than a confident red-blooded american LAZINESS IS THE DEVIL attitude. EVERYT HING costs something, if you have nothing, how are you spos to get started? REFUSES to get a job? Who hires bums, dude!? WHO!? "You've shown you can't fit into society, you smell like shit, you look worse...you're hired!"

Hur dur just go to work.. lmfao wow.

Well this libtard cuck makes a good point actually. Most homeless people have too much pride to work on their social skills. I mean, I've met homeless guys that sucked dick or get fucked in the ass for money, yet they still have too much pride to stop doing dope long enough to save money and get a job or at least an apartment. Or move in with someone else.

Shame really, society makes it harder for socially inept bafoons to become less socially inept.

EDIT: around here, you just pick up a gun and start robbing people if necessary, or slang dope. There's a lot of options, I know a lot of people who have successfully robbed banks and shit, but it never really amounted to shit because none of them could save and invest their money wisely.

He kind of sounds like the kind of guy who either didn't pay rent and was shocked when he got booted, or completely mooched off of whoever he was staying with and got offended when they finally had enough.

Am I in the ballpark? Some douche who doesn't ever work, spends the little money he does have on pointless/expensive shit, and blames his shitty life on everything/everyone but himself?
