2019-08-07 at 1:43 AM UTCI just said my dad was prescribed valium to come off booze spectral is right. This was about 20 years ago but still, it was pretty prevalent. Kids these days not growing up in alcoholic households like "omg why didn't you just taper off by microdosing dicks in your ass?" fuck right off.
When you go to any public detox facility here for anything they give you codeine and valium. Idk how any of this is hard to understand, none of you are doctors and nobody cares you read about some magical root from sri lanka on bluelight -

I don't doubt they use Valium for withdrawals. It's the gold standard for that. What I doubt is that a doctor would take a person using a long acting benzo like diazepam to get off alcohol and then switch them to a short acting benzo like lorazepam/Ativan. The whole point of detoxing with a long acting benzo is for the duration and lack of rebound effects which Ativan is complete shit with in both regards.
I give up trying to educate anyone here anymore though.
Also, if your dad went to an alcohol detox that used codeine that just means the doctors/directors were dumb as fuck and just trying to come up with anything without scientfic basis. -

It's because you can't overdose on lorazepam, and suicidal people try to overdose. -
2019-08-10 at 3:04 AM UTCAlcohol needs to be banned.
Why hasn't Donald Trump addressed the drug epidemic in the US?
I know he would be afraid of losing support but eventually someone has got to stand up and do something about this.
If I were president I would ban all substances overnight, have addicts sent to facilities where they could receive proper treatment and rehabilitation, have the companies and individuals pushing these substances murdered.
Drugs are fucking evil trash -
