   Not sure what you are asking...Alexa is stand alone you can use it with Iphone or Android not sure about fire tablet but I'd guess the alexa app is on all/most platforms.

   To actually answer your question, no, you can't teach Alexa new tricks. You can get an EXTERNAL program that piggybacks off Alexa to do unlimited amounts of things.
