2019-07-29 at 8:27 PM UTCMy mom was in a Christmas club when I was a kid, she put a few pounds a week in it and just before Christmas the person running the club would give everyone their money so they'd have a lump sum to buy presents and food with.
It's was a popular thing back in the 70s when everyone was dirt poor and didn't have bank accounts, the club runner obviously made some money off the interest of everyones money.
Of course the club organizer disappeared 3 weeks before Christmas with all the cash and us kids went without Christmas that year. -

to be fair tho a home isn't the same as a country per se. your home is your personal private residense where you go to relax and get away from the world, outside your home is where everyone else is, its public area where anyone can go as they please. pretty much every country in the world has thousands of foreign visitors every day. just as thousands of your countrymen will visit other countries that they choose to. obviously different rules are going to be necessary concerning them both as they work completely differently. so not a great analogy really.

Sure, if the benefits of club membership were worth that condition.
For example if I set up an AirBnB I'm not allowed to discriminate by race on who I allow to stay in my home. I would abide by that rule if I wanted to operate an AirBnB, since that is a condition for gaining the benefits of operating an AirBnB.
In fact literally millions of private individuals already agree to this condition voluntarily in the real world today. -

Your making an argument for something else now. An AirBnB is a business that requires you open your home to the public. You can still refuse entry to anyone.
