Why do dogs have to get old?

Same reason why you have to be so gay.

It absolutely blows my mind that so few people bring this issue up.

Our society is a tad too casual about simply taking our supposed "loved ones" to a butcher shop to have their genitals excised.

Are you really surprised? Male circumcision is still standard practice in the US.

yes. The females are more desirable to rape. The males are stronger and can produce more output in the fields.

True, and, heck, I'm circumcised myself and not even jedi.

But it's not quite the same. I can still fuck and procreate.

I mean, both are an issue, but we take it a bit further with our pets.

    i know mane.

im tryimg to bring awareness to it.

which is why i dispise people who keep their pet and treat them like a toy.

reproducing is a part of live, its included in the definition of life, live, living things, and when you take it away from your pets, they cease to be living things and become just toys that breathe and shits.

Not beyond the average lifespan of a human.

Like I said, those are sea turtles you're thinking of.

they can live up to 80.

really depends on how long you think a human can live.

As someone who owned red eared sliders, no. Average human lifespan is like 70-80. Only exceptional sliders live that long.

The lifespan of a turtle varies greatly depending on the species of turtle. For example, a typical pet turtle can live between 10-80 years or so while larger species can easily live over 100 years.
