2019-07-03 at 3:21 AM UTCI only need 8 hours. I only sleep when I just can't keep my eyes open any longer. Since my college days, I only sleep in the day and stay up all night long. I'm nocturnal...by nature.

"Only sleep 8 hours." I know like HOSTS of people that only sleep 4 or 5 hours a day. A lot of them are old people to. They fo to bed at 9 or 10 and get up at like 3 in the morning and still have all this ambition all day.
Bodies are weird. When I was on prozax I slept for about 5 hours a night and I'd wake up just BAM ready to face the day. All day energy. Sleep was for pussies I'd say.
I like sleeping and I feel like I always want to know but I also hate it for some reason. I'll go lay down when I'm feeling tired and then end up watching stupid videos or whatever on my phone and then 4 hours later I'll get back up and go do some new things, all the while feeling tired but never tired enough to actually want to go to bed. Or even when I try to go to bed I get restless and wake up right away. -

I'd love to be able to sleep that much. How do you get that done? -

Zero obligations + the aforementioned sedentary lifestyle, which leaves me feeling constantly exhausted. If I worked out, stayed hydrated, and ate healthily I probably wouldn't be able to pull it off. And I definitely wouldn't be able to do it if I had social or professional obligations.
My thyroid is also shit which probably helps. -

I like sleeping sometimes, but I also love the feeling of waking up at 5 and being like HI, MY NAME TREYVOE I AWAKE!, but that's like, 1 out 9-10 days maybe.
Most of the days I'm tired enough that I would rather be sleeping so that I could up at 5 and not be tired, but that usually doesn't happen so most of the time I'm basically wishing it was the next day so that I'd have a chance to not be tired and therfor be productive or enjoy things. -

Sleep is a different story.
That's... unfortunate. I'm massively disappointed if I don't have a dream any given time I go to sleep. They're what make the whole experience of sleeping worthwhile. It's basically like free drugs and hassle free creative insight. Even if they're jumbled and nonsensical and lack any substantive sense of continuity for the most part, they're... neat. Like if action movies were avant garde or something. I dunno.
