   punk was slightly different in the US and UK.
   
   lot of people think some of pil's stuff like like fodderstompf was early influence to acid house. also, i can remember jah wobble doing live sets at some of the raves i went to in 90/91 an all. acid house definitely had the anti-establishment mentality that was adopted by the punk scene over a decade earlier. many of the 70s punk fans were well into the acid house scene an all.
