What do you do when people tailgate you?

I slow down to the point that they pass me, then I speed up and tailgate them all the way to their house. I stop in front of their driveway and wait for them to get out of their car and look back at me. I proceed to yell out my window, “I know where you live now!” And then I drive off.

I never pull into my driveway with a tailgater behind me for this very reason.

I don't have a car at the moment so I've been cycling and I try to use all bike lanes / sidewalks to my advantage but sometime it just isn't possible, I'm not a fat ass so I try to pick up the pace but some people will get right behind me like their mother fuckers.

I actually got hit by a car over the weekend just crossing the street at an intersection when I had the pedestrian crossing sign, she could of killed me. I punched her window and flicked her off. Someone I know on this site literally ran into the back of another car at a red light lmao then blamed me over the accident when I was like 15 miles away laying in bed lol

woman are the worst drivers ever. My ex gf literally backed up and scraped her side view mirror off of her car and she was stone cold sober

I use cycling lanes and when I do go in the street I'm going the speed limit as I live by the uni and traffic is slow, Its not like Im cycling on the highway lol

I'm actually ordered new tires for my trek to go faster / smoother. I have fast legs and am not obese.

the cops here use treks to patrol the hood and they are fast little bikes

It's annoying when you get an 18wheeler in the left lane (that usually states NO TRUCKS) on the freeway going 50mph and refusing to move over. Obviously tailgating them isn't a good idea though as a brake check could result in you effectively being pushed through a cheese grater.

I couple of years ago I had a black woman follow me to work in the morning after I'd "disprespected" her on the highway. I pulled into my parking spot and she pulled up behind me with her phone out videoing me.

She then rolled the window down a couple of inches and said "Don't fuck with me I'll fuck you up"...(a black woman to a 235lb 6'4" man). She stared me down to "show me who was boss" to which I replied in a deep throaty voice "you're on private property niggaaaaa"

She slowly crawled the vehicle away still staring me down the way a chimpanzee does when challenging for leadership.

    I don't slow down and I don't speed up.
I just keep driving normally, avoiding looking at them in the rear view mirror.

I used to be bothered by them, but I'm not anymore.

But then ...you do realize that she knows what car you're driving AND where you park for work each day. You might just return to your vehicle one day after work to discover a couple of slashed tires.

if they get too close for too long i'll just press my brake pedal enough to make the brake lights come on but not actually enough to engage the brakes.

When I was younger, Campanelli was the in parts apparently. My StepBrove always told me to use Campi parts.

We all did 10 speed touring stuff.. I couldn't keep up with these fucking pothead stoners. I never developed a full left lower lobe. But I would ride around the reservoir in the town of El Sobrante 3-4 times a week.. went to Continuation High school (for stoners and people who got kicked out or drop outs who were court ordered back in) and umm.. I would get school credits for riding my bike. :D

the stock gears on this look pretty low end, that frame looks bad ass. How much does it weigh without rims?

thats cool I'll look into campanelli. I'm not sure how much it ways I can't even find the trek I have because its from the 90's and when I search whats printed on there other shit comes up.. It's pretty light though before this I had a schwinn hybrid and that was definitely a lot more bulky

treks are good though, before I got this trek I asked some gont at his shop about trading out wheels with the shwinn and he was like theres no way you're going to be able to do that with that kind of bike, a trek is a good "adult" starter bike I've noticed them a lot since I got one, my friend hooked me up with his since he doesn't cycle anymore.

Was it something like Schwinn Continental?

they were cheaper than the A-class frames but much desired. Often they would run low on the frames because of the mid price which was like 199.00

A bit dated but really fun bikes on roads. No off trailing except the tour Traveler 27 inch fat rims.

kind of like a skinny trail bike.

very dated but I have nostalgic memories. I didn't bike as much as my step-Bro and friends. They would ride over the Berkeley Hills through this park called Tilden Park. I did the pass a few times but it's a killer on the legs going up from the county line side.

Really dated wear, but they had biker shorts even back then that are almost the same today.. dif material prolly.

San Pablo Rez seen from Tilden Park. Still the same protected park land. Beautiful country. you come right out of the City and into County side.
