I have studied these things. And if you had as well, you wouldn't be saying this. Whether resistance is heating something up or preventing electricity from flowing the fundamental physical principles underlying it are the same. -

no, thats not what i said.
what i said was that there are many types, taxonomies or races, of resistence.
there are resistance to electricity, called ohm.
there are resistence to heat, ie: thermal resistance, known as kelvin / watt.
and if you take apart your laptops or cell phones you'll see tin foils in them. those tin foils are there to provide resistance to RF frequencies.
resistance dont just happens to electric currents. it happens to a lot of other things in the field of electric and electronics, and their underlying fundamental physical principals might not be the same.
have you ever considered taking philosophy of electrical conductance ? -

a) - the act of fighting against something that is attacking you, or refusing to accept something
b) - a force that acts to stop the progress of something or make it slower
c) - the degree to which a substance prevents the flow of an electric current through it -

can you please tell the juries the property of heat shields ? -

Thermal resistance is a heat property and a measurement of a temperature difference by which an object or material resists a heat flow. Thermal resistance is the reciprocal of thermal conductance. Absolute thermal resistance R in K/W is a property of a particular component. For example, a characteristic of a heat sink. Specific thermal resistance or thermal resistivity Rλ in (K·m)/W is a material constant. Thermal insulance has the units (m2K)/W in SI units or (ft2·°F·hr)/Btu in imperial units. It is the thermal resistance of unit area of a material. In terms of insulation, it is measured by the R-value. Absolute thermal resistance is the temperature difference across a structure when a unit of heat energy flows through it in unit time. It is the reciprocal of thermal conductance. -

The company I work at was considering a move to cloudflare last week. I had a big argument with two external techies - they both said cloudflare involved changing a: records, I was like "nah, you have to change ns records". Then it was like "as you suggested in the conference call..."
Anyway I wonder if the cloudflare outage affected email, which is our major concern WRT fucking with DNS records. -

Real OG blood compton niggas use DNSCrypt-proxy, the related protocol and distributed open resolvers that are compatible with the protocol. -

The problem isn't on the DNS side, it's on the shitty PHP CMS that was chosen for the project, as well as the big blob of kitchen-sink CSS and js that is thrown at the project. For instance the CSS has 7% code coverage. I'm only 2 months in the job, so just getting to grasps with the clusterfuck, though I'm expected to work miracles just because I can crash the site via overloading PHP entry processes ( ab -n 100000000 -c 31 https://urlgoeshere ) where entry process limit = 30 from the command line. So typical situation.
