I blame those that do the drugs, Personal responsibility etc. It's not the gun manufacturers fault if someone misuses their gun (regardless of stupid US lawsuits). Everyone knows and has known for decades they are addictive..hence why when I was prescribed them a while back I didn't fill the prescription.

Not exactly. A doctor is in a position of authority. If a doctor tells you something is needed for your health, you're expected to take their word for it, like gold. In this case of the opiate epidemic, it's the profession itself which actually drives the thing forward, strictly for their own personal wealth. /snip lol no you're not..unless you're stupid. Opiates are simply pain relievers..they don't "cure" anything as such you don't ever "need" to take them. If a doctor tells you you "need" them you should find a new doctor.
Jesus I learned years ago that doctors are as much fuck ups as anyone else when I lived with an A&E nurse for 5yrs and heard about their fuckup stories pretty much ever evening when she got home.
I lived with her on the hospital property for a year (when she was training) and saw the docs come to the nurses quarters stay up all night partying with them and fucking them and then going back to work with no sleep. I told my g/f "if I ever get sick take me to a different hospital"..she said "why, do you think it would be any different there?", lollingtons -
