As a result I have a huge collection of drugs I've used to supplement and take in the place of other drugs. It's like I need to keep something from every class. Stimulants to wake me up, opioids because opioids, weed to wind down, some sort of GABA agonist to take a break from worrying, nootropics because I'll never be smart enough, psychedelics even though I have zero desire to trip and haven't for years.
If I didn't have this control I'd just be obsessing over ways to find control. My worst fear is being in a place where I'm completely unable to alter my consciousness in any way possible. I don't need to actually do it, I just need the power to.
That's the hallmark of a conservative (underdeveloped) brain. It's like how conservative brained people feel anxious not having a gun they don't need, yet feel so relieved once they get a Beretta they never so much as think about. More open minded (developed) people are not nearly as concerned with this. -
2019-06-22 at 12:01 PM UTCWell, this thread came at the right time. I have been titrating down off of tramadol, but I’m at the point where I’ll be done within the next week. I’m taking half a fifty daily, when I work, and I don’t take any on my day off. I think the opiate withdrawal will be easier than dealing with getting the SNRI out of my body. I find myself getting pissed of by the littlest things. I lost my cool on an innocent person, who didn’t deserve it, the other day. Afterwards I was so pissed at myself. It seems that I’m mostly experiencing hostility. I’m trying very hard to be aware of my level of anger.
I’ve been on tramadol for 2 1/2 years, ever since my botched surgery that left my back bone-on-bone. I had an abcess that ate away the disc in between the vertebrae.
I hope this gets better, I’m sure it will, I just have to get through this😡 -

2019-06-22 at 12:07 PM UTCOn your lip? That’s an odd place. Were you injecting into your thigh?
Mine ended up being on my spine, after a minorly invasive spine surgery. Worst pain in my entire life.😩 -

no, it didn't have anything to do with injecting, i was just in shit health. meth reduces your body's ability to fight infections. i remember getting the second one and thinking maybe it has something to do with the meth, taking a shit while googling it, finding a study that said flat out that meth will fuck up your immune system and being like "alright one more line then im going to the ER" lmao. then i was spun as fuck in the ER pacing around and talking to myself and the nurse got pissed off at me -

I thought you got a job? Get a job.
Or...it sounds like that might be the one thing keeping you from getting drunk and spun out. So maybe.....keep doing what ur doing?
Idk.
happy birthday faggit. -
2019-06-22 at 3:40 PM UTCIf I had money and a job I would 100% use meth again because working sober is the worst thing I can imagine.
Coffee is a horrible work drug because you crash and feel like shit by lunch time. If I get high before I go to work in the morning I feel energetic and awake all day long while everyone around me complains about being tired and hungry all the time.
I don't understand how society expects people to work sober. I think it's just a massive conspiracy to make everyone tired and feel like shit all the time so they are too exhausted to fight back against the system because they have to go to bed early so they aren't late for work -
2019-06-22 at 3:44 PM UTCI work sober nearly every day and it's easily my best state.
