I think they have been for a while. the life of man is a wisp of wind. or a very short period in a G-d size day.
A light year is the distance light travels in one year, 6 trillion miles. There are heavenly bodies out there which are trillions of light years away. And those bodies are up to 13 billion years old. And some of those bodies are millions of times the size of our Sun, and our Earth is just about the size of the head of a pin on the face of the Sun. Just goes to show the scale we are talking about here. To God, our entire existence is like the blink of an eye. -

it shouldn't make any difference if someone is well off or poor. trump has no business treating human beings as badly as he does.
the tax cuts were specifically designed to benefit and boost the income for the wealthy above all others. they knew they weren't paid for and they wouldn't pay for themselves due to their huge price tag. they knew they'd explode the deficit much much more too.
expecting "the people" to pay the tab for the tax cuts the wealthy didn't need, pay for bailouts, corporate losses but they keep the profits and tariffs like the people are supposed to serve and kiss their butts cuz they're rich.
the american people needs the tax cuts not people that are already loaded with wealth.
trump is emptying budget programs and funds for cripples, old people, little kiddos with working parents barely getting by, workers benefits, workers protections, environmental protections and on and on. that's just for starters. people are going to die.
americans will be paying for those tax cuts for long time to come. they're just going to expand the deficit more before they're paid off. there'll be a lot of damage before it's all over and done with. F trump. he's an ass. -

I know he's taking away from programs like Kidney Dialisis which My father had to do and ended up dying from kidney problems at age 50. Im prediabetic myself. My eyesite is starting to go. It's hard for me to read shit up close. I can read road signs just fine. but I don't know for how long. Maybe 5 more years. I can get glasses and or contacts but will I have health insurance in the future. I'm not lazy, never lived off of welfare. I might have to one day. In my mid 50s. But I want to work and make money. it's just a joke now. at first it was exciting to see all of the new money in the tech world. but us blue collars are told "tough shit.. get a higher education"
so fine. No one can afford to live in these cities like San Francisco and soon Atlanta Ga or NYC ..etc. who's gonna make your food. Annoying AI bots with no souls. who's going to drive those fleet cars or bus if they don't get paid enough to pay for rent.. let alone ever own a home again.
Both political sides have been fucking the middle class and making the gap that much larger. either we make it big or we will all be poor. no middle class left. it's dwindling fast. -

2019-06-20 at 8:28 PM UTCI was starting to like Gov Nusom and then the Gav decided to pull the bullet train project.
I mean they have been laying track now for over a decade and this dude says "Naw.. waste of time and resources" and pulls it.
Here is the trick to making it happen. hire the hispanics out of work coming up to california and lets just speed up the track laying time period from the expected 2030 down to say 2023. The Chinese did it. If this was China, I bet that track would of been finished years ago. -

They already knew right from day One they would scrap it. It's the all-new fad. What you do is parade around as the hero of the story and make a huge promise of a huge project that everyone wants, then you get all your little buddies in on it for kickbacks, then you simply drain the coffers for everything you and your little buddies can carry off. Ten years later, you're still draining the coffers, and you just keep right on going until someone stops you. Then you just say, oh, well, and you and your little buddies all walk away extremely and fabulously rich. That's the world we now live in. -

its really politiconomics. you can argue which is the extension of which but i think the evidences are clear, from reagan to trump.but it seems to me that he's been cutting taxes to companies and making it up in income and other taxes on consumers in an effort to keep major US companies like Amazon, Apple etc. dominant internationally, but placing many of those products out of reach of US consumers by reducing their purchasing power.
I'd be interested to hear from anyone who cares more about economics on that
"making tax payers pay" is a myth and a slogan to trigger the masses in a trade deficit country like USA.
they are already having deficits for more than a generation, that is to say no matter how much their "tax payers" are paying its still not enough to cover their expenditures.
and no, US consumers dont have reduced purchasing powers under trump. just ask any US posters here, are they struggling to pay for something they need or want ? -

Yeah exactly, not any more than before. Rent hasn't changed TMK, although I moved twice, and everything is no more than linear inflation besides Apple products which are for nonces and blokes who believe the trade wars increased the prices by $499.99 conspiracy set up by App$e.
However, wages have gone up very significantly, and ability to find a new job is unreal, and taxes I don't really know if they changed or not for lower/middle class. Too complicated. -

enjoy it while it last. save as much as you can for when the storm comes.
investors are over optimistic these days based on the prices of stocks.
trump will fail to get anything at g20 and then the stocks are goimg to dive. -
2019-06-21 at 6:01 PM UTClol, he literally threatened China with sanctions if Xi didn't come talk to him at G20.
It doesn't matter though. Xi was willing to negotiate but was stopped by the Politburo on the basis that they will no longer tolerate being treated as a vassal.
We can expect there will be no concessions or agreements until either the situation becomes too dire in China or the US starts to show respect and treat China as an equal.
