Hikikomori is a psychological condition which makes people shut themselves off from society, often staying in their houses for months on end. There are at least half a million of them in Japan. It was once thought of as a young person's condition, but sufferers are getting older and staying locked away for longer.

Hikikomori is just OP's way of justifying being a massive failure with no social life and inability to get any vagina. This in turn makes him vent his anger on such races as jedis. Reading books on superior races makes OP feel less inferior. Had these beings already existed and were not in a progressive state of evolution he would not have the same admiration.
Ascension stories are more for him. A marginalised group that gains untold power then unleashes it on those that tormented them arouse him.
