theres a new nuke its called thorien and it only takes a golfball of it to power ur whole existance for ur whole entire life and its awesome. and it's cheap and abundant as all get out. so you only pay about a dollar a year for the fuel and the rest will just be transmission fees which will be cheap okay cause they are gonna build these things small and distributed theres probably gonna be one just down the street from you.

lol the oil companies hate this even the wind fans and the solar panels hate this but this is progress. time to buy a electric car and cash out

can you say refrigerated swimming pool and electric monster truck???????

Laying in the yard won't heat my house, power my vehicle, or put a man on mars.

None of which stops the sun from being a free source of energy...

But yes, the sun can do all those things.

It does heat your house (without the sun it would be about negative 455f in your house).
It can power your vehicle (there are solar powered vehicles)
and without it's presence and gravitational influence there would be no mars to go to.

Try heating your house with the sun for free in December. Try telling your boss that you can't come to work this week because the sun won't be out until Saturday and your solar powered car which isn't available on the consumer market is "out of fuel". In any case it's not free even if it was practical. Finally gravity has nothing to do with free energy from the sun.

You don't have to try, the sun heats your house all year around..again build a house outside of the solar system and see what the ambient temperature is..then get back to me.

btw...here in Texas in December it's often in the 80s...I still use my a/c.

So cancel your gas and electric service

I don't have gas, I need electric to run other things...again none of which has anything to do with the fact that the sun is a source of free energy.

It's amusing you seem to be disputing that indisputable fact...

Simply because humans are still to dumb to figure out how to fully exploit the free energy that is rained down on us from the sun, doesn't mean the sun isn't continuing to rain down that free energy.

Zeta Reticulans have had a Dyson Sphere for 1.5 million years.

In the science world there is no such thing as cold, just less heat because of the sun.

Well many scientists hypothesize about cold fusion.

Any kind of free energy would cause a national security crisis, that's why it's banned.

The sun isn't banned..it just has a nightly curfew in some countries.

And anyways, it doesn't matter at all what the energy source is. If you could run cars on water, the thieves would simply ban you from possessing water without a registration/tax/fee/rate whathaveyou, and you would pay the same, if not more, for the water than you would have paid for the gas. If you heat your home on air, the thieves would simply regulate the air and set a fixed or sliding rate for the air they decide you will be using. You will pay the same, if not more, for the air you use to heat your home. Sunlight? Same thing. They figure out how much sunlight everyone would have available to them, set rates, and send the bill in the mail. You could very, very easily be paying just as much, if not more, for your sunlight than you were paying for your electricity. It just doesn't matter what you use; the end result is exactly the same in each and every case.

Like in Total recall where air on Mars is taxed.

If this corrupt system were permitted to continue on its course, there would have come a time, maybe 50-100 years from now, where you would be paying for all the air you breathe and every drop of water you use and even the sunlight you consume, even the space you occupy, and the rates would be sky high. So high, you wouldn't be able to pay, and they would just execute you for stealing air/water/space without paying. But they won't be able get that far.
