   There is nothing mentally ill about pedophilia, unless you have some sort of inability to find adult women attractive and are only attracted to young women, though I would consider that a psychological defect.
   Homosexuality on the other hand is a mental illness, humans are not supposed to be attracted to the same sex, that prevents the propagation of the species.
