The prevailing theory is that the government should not be involved in protecting people from themselves at all, only protecting people from being harmed by other people. As soon as the government starts "protecting" people from themselves, bad things start to happen, like very bad people making a whole lot of cash for themselves.

also speckles: ignorance of the law is not a defense. people get convicted all the time for committing crimes they never even realized they were committing. unfortunate but thats how it goes. else everybody would just go to court and act dumb.

theres no guarantee advertising will make a product sells.
theres also no guarantee that everyone that was linked to an illlicit drug dealer WILL buy drugs. and when they didnt, all those drug links are just informations.
