A couple a refineries and a pipeline and their money is done. The people of Iran have been looking for a way to throw the kooks at the top out. Without money they can't pay the armed forces or their proxy agents. Without armed forces and proxy forces the regime can't hold power from the people.
I have been following this since before most of the posters here were born. The people want their choice back. None of you here recall what Iran was like before the Islamic Revolution in 1979. Here is an example of the difference.

There are many people alive in Iran today who remember when they had the choices they had before and they want that life for the children and grandchildren. If the tyrants have no money they have no power. Without their power the people will rise against them not in support of them.
