Yes. I saw a DOT label on the back of a catering van once which means they had a tank, I really wanted to steal it.

I have a store literally a block away that sells huge (gas storage) tanks.
A neighbor once said that he knew a dude that bought one filled with nitrous directly from there.
I'm so skeptical, though, that I haven't even considered inquiring further about it.
I have, however, thought of buying one of their tanks and chemically synthesizing N2O myself. It's a pretty simply molecule. It can't be that hard, can it?

I can't remember the laws in Canada but best I can remember Air Liquide doesn't have any restictions on ordering a tank of Nitrous but they will probably ask what you need it for or verify that you are a legit business that needs it.

It's legal here in Hollandia. You can get a balloon full with your beer if you go to the clubs in the city.
