no one ever said it was wrong.. anyways back on topic I saw meghan trainor at the erwin center, and she's so talented, she literally farted into her mic when the sax players mic went out to make up for the lost sound. I was downright amazed.

when you use it for profit that puts a timeline on how long you have to complete a particular piece of art. I don't like being pressured especially since you never get the amount it's worth compared to the time it takes unless you do a larger painting.

plus I'm such a perfectionist when it comes to my work I like to keep playing with until it's perfect enough to satisfy me first. I don't want it to go on somebodys wall if I don't think it's good enough even if everybody else says it's already perfect.

and some of my work I never part with. I keep it and hang it up in my own place.

every artist is different. it depends on the type of artist you are and personality you have.

I only said that because I met a talented woman who loved what she did with her art. She has a job but her art was her passion. She painted a pic for me and I was impressed and I asked why she didn't sign it? I saw a light bulb go off in her head. As for her job, she worked for someone and got paid for what she could do on her own. She hesitated but I motivated her to work for herself. Last year she made more than me and I make pretty good money. Point being, some people need motivation and emotional support. I am not saying you do, I don't know you. I am just sharing an experience I have had with a now successful woman who may not be where she is if I hadn't motivated her.

And this thread inspired me to start digging through the code I already have written.

I even started designing a a GUI (a visual keyboard) in "pygame."

I think that, if anything, I'd use HTML/CSS/JS for the front end if I continue with it.

And I'm legit thinking of carrying on.

Since my post I have discovered Synthesia which is pretty sweet. I'm trying to find a way to get it for free, but for $20 it might be kinda worth it
