i'm not disputing the fact that they will work just fine, so long as you arent involved in high brake use situations like street racings or coming down the mountains, what im saying that its suboptimal cooling and against the way their designed to work,

like sodomy. or ass fuck by any other name.

Once again assumptions, the dust is projected @ a 45 degree angle due to the caliper's load being so high. I've tested older X300 brakes on 308s they don't make as much dust but are woefully under powered w/ 2 tons+ to manage. Not sure what anal sex has to do w/ automotive braking scenarios or if it's just what your dwelling on out of wants/needs but ok then lol.

all you need to do to see how brakes are supposed to work is to look at them in a wind tunnel.

failing that, just look at the wheels of vehicles travelling at high speed on the freeway in heavy rain and notice the water mists going around the vehicles and out of their wheels.

Or as I've done, use a small blue tooth camera & monitor for 48 hours. I appreciate your input but I'm sure you lack enough real world X308 experience to help.

Side note I found this in Denver on a recent escapade. It's a bit of a bastardized version, they have the X350 grill w/ the X308esque pillar lines & wheels. I'm going to find another one & modify w/ mesh grill & leaper hood ornament.

like i said, its like sodomy.

you can look at videos of sodomy for 48 hours straight and nothing would appear to be going wrong

    but it is.

    The Jag clan grows.

Picked up a 2010 Jaguar XKR w/ a mere 38,000 miles recently. Car's a blast to whip w/ head snapping torque, throaty audio like a mountain line getting attacked by 150,000 hornets lol & some of the cleanest lines in Jag history.

Today I drive it to run errands, make sure to park in the farthest end of the parking lot w/ no traffic to minimize risk. Some asshole in a cookiecutter POS surely has to slide in haphazardly next to me, go fucking figure.

100 yards max, the point is to avoid reckless idiots' shopping carts & door dings.
