Agent got to it early(today) everything is as billed. It's even had it's timing belt changed @ 50K which is the biggest job on this era(have to take the whole top half of the engine part etc.) Has every record from the day it was delivered etc. The inspector's note read "Car looks & drives as if new" They want 16K, I'm going to offer $12.5K & use the shipping cost as my bargaining point(Michigan-NC).

Been hunting this white rhino for many a moon lol.

The appeal is that it's one of the best riding & built like a tank vehicles you will drive. A well sorted LS400 is a gem for sure. I had one back in the day that got wiped out by a hurricane, insurance came through so I got a nearly new LS430 & was mad disappointed, it was worlds apart.

thats how driving a taxi/cab feels like.

i think your ls400 comes from the lineage of toyota crown, which is what they used to use for taxis and cabs and vehicular prostitutes.

If a Crown is a Toyota Camry then yes that's the base. Once you do the timing in a LS400 you're good for 300,000 miles easily unless you're an idiot lol.

Impossible to find the OEM lambswool mats that came w/ the car new, but there's a company that specializes in Jaguar,Rolls lambswool. I'm getting AEK/Sable w/ the SDZ/cashmere foot pad. Takes them a few weeks but she's 100% done after this.

Back when jaguars looked good. I hadn't paid attention to cars for like 15 years, so I thought I'd check out what jaguars look like now.

Super, super generic. Nothing really distinct about them at all.
