It's not that God couldn't wipe out all evil, and everything else, in the blink of an eye. It's because everyone has to know the truth. In their hearts. They have to know it for themselves. This won't go on forever. Only a short time longer. This time was set aside for a proving, and that allocated time is nearing its end.

A volcano is necessary for the earth to exist in the form it does, but if I build a house next to one, is it God's fault if I die in an eruption? We were warned that our decisions have consequences. If I died from cancer next year, is it God's fault? Or could it have more to do with my great grandfather smoking cigarettes and altering my dna in a way it shouldn't have been?
    
    People should stop looking to pass blame on to God for things we are to blame for. We were put here with everything we ever needed to survive and take care of each other. We chose a different route.
