Yeah I agree that the big three drugs are opiates, xanax, and alcohol. Meth seems to be for many people, not so much for others. You either like it a lot or you don't really.
Cocaine isn't much of a hard drug imo, but it has a big following by people who tend to be into stimulants.
Like Juicebox was saying, it's fairly rare for high school kids to get into opiates/heroin much. It's not looked upon very fondly amongst the kids there, and you can't really afford a habit yet.
Junkying rarely kicks in before early 20's. Usually starts when your life begins falling apart.
