Ehh, he'd get new patches with a police report and a new script from his doctor. You should have followed him home and waited for his old ass to go to sleep. The old codger might have had some valuables too.
True, you're a bad influence breh.

Thats not true, at least not here in the states. My dad has his bottle stolen and had a police report and everything one time, doctor said sorry your SOL. Also heard the same thing from another lady I knew who got hwr script picked off her in walmart. Another lady was at my doctors office when I was getting my shit and I over heard my doctor tell her she was fucked. -

It is true, but the doctor has the ultimate say. I have personally seen people get early refills with a police report from legitimate doctors (not pill mills). Of course, insurance won't be happy about it. Physical evidence of robbery will help persuade the doctor, i.e., kick their ass when you take their shit if you care about them and want them to get their refill. -
2015-09-29 at 4:12 PM UTCThere's a bad man in everyone, no matter who we are. There's a rapist and a nazi living in our tiny hearts. Child pornographers and cannibals, and politicians too. There's someone in your head waiting to fucking strangle you.

I don't agree with this notion as it absolves horrible people of their guilt. -

No part of that absolved anyone of anything. It's more of a self centered thing, having somebody in your head waiting to strangle you. If you listen to the rest of the song you'll see what I mean (People II: The Reckoning by Andrew Jackson Jihad)

I agree, but it's an evolutionary thing -- we come from raping, murdering, thieving ancestors. We were not designed to live in cities of 100000+ people. Who hasn't wanted to beat a motherfucker up after they pissed you off?
It also doesn't absolve people of guilt, because part of living in today's society is suppressing those instincts. It is one thing to fantasize about raping or killing someone, and another to act on those urges. -

Sure it does silly, or at least it attempts to diminish responsibility "Oh yeah sorry i murdered that person, but hey we all have a bit of murderer inside amirite guise?"
No, you're a murderer and thus fundamentally different than those who are not. -

It is bullshit. Honestly, we should live in a world where I cab go to the pharmacy and ask for whatever the fuck I want, but if we do that we gotta teach people to take responsibility for their actions rather than blamw drugs and other shit in their lives.
It wouldnt let me quote 1337 but what I ment was it wasnt a sure fire way to get another script because we live in such a fucked up world. My dad wasnt going to a pill mill at the time when that happened. The lady at walmart, I have no clue about though. My doctor was a DO who didnt write anything over percs. They lady in question was an old frail lady. So many doctors are terrified of the DEA these days. There once was a time when our family doctor whom we were close friends with would write 120dillys every 3 days and my mother had a huge bag of morphine in our fridge for her morphine pump that was delivered to our door . Times have changed, having a pain script almost always make you look liek a drug addict anymore. -

Im stoned, but the way I see it the point is more that we are more talking to the fact of potential. Im not a murderer, but I very well could be if you stick me in the right clusterfuck of circumstance. We all have something inside us that could do it, therefore how truely devided from the murderer are we now? -

The distinction is the actual act of murder. -

2015-09-30 at 2:07 AM UTCHey roshambo, did I link to this place yet? I can't remember https://www.bitquick.co/
You just find a seller on the site, go to the bank branch they specify, let the teller know that you want to make a deposit into <sellers name> account, the teller might make you sign a slip (some places are having you show ID now, but who cares, just use intermediate wallets), you give her the money, and that's it. -

No, it doesn't. Let me bring the quote back
"There's a bad man in everyone, no matter who we are. There's a rapist and a nazi living in our tiny hearts. Child pornographers and cannibals, and politicians too. There's someone in your head waiting to fucking strangle you."
At what point is any act of crime mentioned here? It is only referencing the idea that we all have this bad man inside us all, that doesn't diminish responsibility whatsoever. Of course a murderer has a little murderer inside their head telling them to be a murderer. Of course a rapist has a little rapist inside their head telling them to be a rapist. But if I said the thought of raping and murdering hadn't crossed my mind well, I'd be lying. I'd never do anything like that, but everybody has their dark thoughts. Responsibility isn't mentioned at all here.
Do you really think the idea that all people are capable of terrible things diminishes responsibility from those who act on those terrible things? If so, why?

Yes, because it normalizes the terrible thing in question.
