   Are there any cities or towns in Japan that could be affordable to us if we're both working decengt jobs and are accommodating to gaijin?

   My mom is into new age stuff so I'm sure she could find work with spiritualists in some small or city
   
   me ... I'm not exactly sure what I would do maybe I would find a job in Tokyo at a record store or wherever my specialty would be being able to communicate with foreigners
   
   maybe I should learn German and other languages too so I can act as their translator

   I have been aware of that forever and it is the reason I'm weary about going to Japan.
   The cost of living and having to work so much is what would draw me away from it so I'll only go if I find a way to make major shekels on my own over the internet
