Give me one good reason why I should refer to transgender people by their preferred pronouns

Also, is it okay for me to refer to you as a biological male, or do you contest to this fact? What if I want to use a pronoun that is in reference your biological sex rather than your 'gender sex'? Or should I, in the same sentence, say something like "HTS is a biological male and she eats corned beef daily." Gender may be a social construct, but sex is not. Where's the line? -

I won't speak for HTS, but I guess my thought on the issue comes down largely to what you mean by "refer to transgender people."
Do you mean online? Do you mean in person? Are they transgender people you know personally or are they strangers?
I'm not attempting to be overly academic here, it's just that the question of how you approach any verbiage is simply going to be highly contingent on the situation you're in and the population you're speaking to -- even if you're just making statements of fact. For example, citing that African Americans make up a disproportionate amount of the crime rate or have way higher rates of illiteracy than their Caucasian counterparts is factual, but that doesn't mean you'd always feel comfortable make that point in discussion to a stranger, at the office, or in a classroom. Similarly, if you have someone close to you that is black and you're speaking in private, you may feel comfortable making the same point.
Moreover, even if being transgender is an dysphoria, it doesn't really cost you anything to entertain that delusion with a stranger simply out of respect for their preference. Moreover, if you maintain a working relationship with somebody and you don't want to complicate it by invoking these greater political ramifications of using their identity as a platform for you to make some kind of speech, you might refer to them as this pronoun just to make your job easier.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

Why wouldn’t you? It doesn’t hurt you to call them by their preferred pronouns.

Referring to me as "biologically male" is somewhat vague, as in some respects my biology is not characteristic of being male anymore. That said, it is undeniably still sufficiently accurate. This boils down to why you'd say that in the first place? Like, there are very few situations in which that would be how you would naturally refer to me and outside of those very select situations it can only be intended to cause offense. And we roll back to the "is it okay to call you a filthy spic" argument in that case.
Or to put it another way: don't be the guy who says "lol wrestling is fake". Like, okay, it's true - but shut up. Let us enjoy the show. -

He kept referring to “they”, and I couldn’t follow the story because I kept asking who is “they”?. Then I realized he was using correct pronouns. I would have never known about use of pronouns if I didn’t post here.

I have a transgender friend that looks 100% male and doesn't take hormones but she has long hair and wears girls clothes. I do not see her as a female at all but I still use proper pronouns and I would even if she wasn't my friend.
