Because I recently did something similar to what you're describing. I made a "troll" thread days ago where I came out as gay.
Certain users who believed it have been calling me a faggot since then, and obviously it doesn't impact me whatsoever. When they say genuinely hateful stuff to me about how homosexuality is wrong (parallel to my racism towards your brown skin), it doesn't effect me personally at all because those comments have nothing to do with me anyway.
If you really weren't a paki, me calling you one shouldn't effect you either. But it clearly does.
You argue this point by saying you're just laughing at me for thinking you're a paki. Again, I can compare that to my gay scenario. There's nothing funny or humiliating about the users who think I'm a faggot. I told them I was. The situation I created is funny in itself, but I'm not singling users out and laughing at them for believing it.
There's really nothing else I can say. You're definitely, 100% brown skinned. And all kidding aside, it's sad that you're denying it. I would hate to think so low of myself to constantly deny my own heritage -- even going so far as to say it was a joke. -
