Tattoos do you think people get them for themselves or for others?

But people gst tats because they want people to ask them about them right? But then you have the hidden ones like on ankles or beneath normal clothes and so are those reminders to self?
Like some people get a tattoo of dice on their arm, or whatever the fuck. Why? Tattoos are a weird thing to me. Why do athletes generally have them all over? Does it make you cool? :)
Both because they think it makes them more interesting/cooler..they are usually wrong though, Tat's are as common as muck these days and really only send the message "I'm narcissistic"
Most know this too and when asked they come up with bullshit excuse like "to remember my mom" or "they are the names of my children" etc..or the classic "to show what I've been through...you don't know meeeee!"
Well if you need a visual reminder to remember your fucking mom's and kids names you're about as dumb as a dumbday in dumbville.
No one cares about your mom, kids or yawn inducing life. -
