Everyone has a bit of evil in them. Sometimes it is over expressed in certain gene pools. What if you realized your kid was more evil than Ted Bundy? Just saying, you never know. Everyone in prison was(usually) someones bundle of joy originally despite how they eventually turned out. You just never know who you're going to get.
I seriously feel like I'm being trolled here.
Luckily we get to live in a world where people have the freedom to be bleeding heart liberals. In the old days you didn't have the luxury. People often had to make tough decisions. Nowadays not so much. -
2019-03-26 at 11:20 PM UTCIf I had a truly recidivistic serial offender for a child, and we had tried everything and I truly felt they would inevitably re-offend if given the opportunity, I might pull a Of Mice and Men kinda thing. If anyone is killing my menace of a son/daughter, it's going to be me, not the state, and certainly not some angry mob.

I stand firm on my belief to execute any blood relatives guilty of any heineous crimes like that we have spoken about.
If God really made man in his own image then this is an Goddamn insult, especially if it was one of your own children.
Sorry but no, they would have to die. Call it an honorably merciful kill. -

I better clarify before my words are misconstrued. I’d walk his butt to the death chamber, if I had to; but I’d also turn him in if I knew, or even thought he killed someone. -

The most fundamental point I'm trying to get at is that: sympathy =/= approval.
I should have just made that super succinct statement at the beginning.
But, as always happens, I somehow end up having to prove that little formula.
You can absolutely disapprove of, condemn, even hate, the actions of a person, without hating the person themselves.
That's all there is to it.
When it comes to some political issues, they just ultimately boil down to definitions and personal values.
Same goes with abortion, immigration, etc.
And these more nuanced distinctions are virtually never altered during debates.
I mean, there's nothing wrong with a bit of healthy discourse, and this thread accomplished it (despite originally being about wall posters, lololol).
But nobody truly budged on their most deeply held beliefs.
Hence why I very seldom engage in political debate. -

2019-03-26 at 11:31 PM UTCParents get charged for protecting their murderer children all the time. The kid confesses to the mother or father, and the mother or father does nothing. Then they get charged for aiding and abetting.

Yeah I forgot to apologise about that buddy, It was my fault wishing death on Vinny. On the contrary it's been an interesting debate.
I did try and change it to tentacle rape, but the force of nonce debating was too damn strong. -

Curious, though, that they have the whole spousal privilege thing.
I guess marriage is a stronger bond than that between parent and child. -

You did make a valiant effort to shift things to tentacle rape. -

I mean, what the heck else was it?
We all laid our cards out on the table and debated the merits of each other's positions on a particular issue.
What would you call it?
I consider a political debate to be about political events. Ya know gubment. -
2019-03-26 at 11:57 PM UTCI enjoy heated debates. It keeps posters on their toes. The only anger I felt was my anger towards pedos.
-
2019-03-27 at 12:08 AM UTCTheir main is argument is that they are not really pedos, because they only look at pics.

2019-03-27 at 12:47 AM UTCWhy do you always add a video or something equally irrelevent after a post. Is that like spectrum behaviour?
-
2019-03-27 at 12:50 AM UTCI wasn't allowed to have posters so I went out side and rode my bike all over the place cause my dad was watching TV and you didn't interrupt that or you would get your ass beat and sent to your room without posters.
