In Denmark they were as in all things ahead of us, making the survey in 2008. More specifically, the central banks third quarterly report of 2008, noting that all immigration except for high skilled western ones were a massive loss. Mind you, the inflation means the real value today is higher by 20% if the online inflation calculator is to be believed. In Sweden? Well, statistics like this would get you exiled pretty quickly. But we do know that, according to the central bureau of statistics in Sweden - Statistiska Centralbyrån or SCB - 57% if "foreign born" immigrants age 21-61 work, whereas 87% is the number for natives. For Africans the number is 39/48 for women/men, for Asians (mid easterners realistically) it's 46/54. I could go on and on and on. The main problem is low labour participation rates, with a secondary problem of little higher education in the second generation. I have yet to see anywhere this doesn't hold true. Also, mind you, that in Norway atm the unemployment rate looks like this and an economy per capita of twice that of Germany and France. Free school, university, highly subsidized childcare. In other words, ideal conditions. If it doesn't work here, how do you think immigration works in countries with 6+% unemployment?

It's hard for me to imagine you were actually serious when you posted this. When will anti-statists give up their petty trolling? It just makes it that much clearer how profoundly they fail to understand their own position.
Think through the chain. Open borders is estimated to double global GDP, you know. To give an example of the increase in welfare (utility) that can occur, on average their wages increase 20-fold, 2000%.
You must choose between the best possible, realistic, options available, not ideals that have no feasible way of coming about. Let's assume that the perceived costs of a lack of welfare at the very least (not going into what effects the cost of living) would occur, would it still outweigh the massive gains in utility that the majority of the world would receive, moving from such incredibly dysfunctional and detrimental environments? The type of state you desire, that most leftists desire, is completely incompatible with these policies. Instead you simply attempt to increase the standard of living of a small percentage of the global population that are already relatively well off, even among the poor (Making about 34K or more a year puts you in the top 1% of income, globally.), at the expense of far more people to a far greater extent.
What is that? Seems to be an off combination of nationalist and socialist policies. National...socialism...now where have I heard that term before? Modern leftists, progressive, really are illiberal in the original, true, sense of the word. Right-libertarianism is the most humanitarian ideology of all. -

This is exactly the kind of taste I would expect from stereotypical film critics, and unlike most people I don't hope people I generally dislike or disagree with will have these negative qualities and conform to stereotypes, but by god do they do so consistently.
Unfortunately there are the advantages of a large asset base, level of site development, and amount of content that comes with large/popular sites like this, but it's offset by having to deal with the poor taste/quality produced by the masses of that specific sector.
I want the most elitist site there is, but without the art school/university educated generic leftist/bobo mentality that's bound to plague the vast majority of them.

My case is closed now, and I'll be damned if this child ever sees a doctor again so long as he is under my care. All because he is a home birth, they make a big fucking deal out of it and act like it's a crime (which it's not, some of the medical staff I encountered was dumb enough to believe this). Fucking idiots scare me, especially when it comes to my son. They all wonder why I have such hatred for them, but they don't see how they act and their money grubbing ways affect how I care for my son. That's all they're after is medicaid money.

Literally haven't stepped foot outside in 24 days, I've stopped caring or worrying about it. I probably would have gone the full month if I didn't need to withdraw money for rent and buy more food. I could just start doing an account deposit for rent if I really wanted, then I wouldn't have a single call or brief moment of contact with a human being at all. I'm not sure if I'm just waiting to die at this point; if you were to see me IRL you'd see I'm already half dead. Moving in a slow zombified manner with a blank stare, someone who's lost themselves and become an empty shell just going through the motions, like someone who's no longer the person they were before and never returned due to a traumatic event, mental illness, or a neurodegenerative disease like alzheimer's, except for brief moments where they're somewhat lucid.

We're all crazy here, in different ways and to different extents. Isn't that why we stick around, because there are so many outcasts of society we can identify with, share in each other's pain?
Just look at me, PoC, look at what I've become. Even if you still feel alone and friendless, you don't understand what a massive difference it makes to go to having literally no one in your life. Your coworkers, family, pets, acquaintances, places you go to. You have nothing but yourself and your thoughts and you can't run away from them anymore, eventually they destroy you. Would you have believed that there was someone even more depressed, dysfunctional, and beyond hope than you? This is a contest no one should want to win. Look at how much worse it could get, it could happen to you one day. It should scare you to your very core if you really understand, so run away as far and as fast as you can.
I remember when I first started posting in TRT you were the only one that was nice to me, maybe Blah as well, but you would defend me when the others didn't want me around. As I said before, thinking through life, I've hurt every person that's tried to get closer to me by my inability to open up to and connect to anyone, anyone at all. I genuinely tried to help you without wanting or expecting anything in return, but you're so easily hurt, and I am too, I understand why. Sorry for hurting your feelings. -
