I have no problem with muslims doing what they want in their own countries and support them defending themselves from foreign invaders, even if those invaders are from my country or 'racial group'. I do share some of that guy's concerns in terms of failure to assimilate, population replacement etc. but if I were him, ie. serious about making a difference, I would've gone after the policymakers that are using unchecked immigration in such a way, not the immigrants themselves.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

They’re under no obligation to assimilate. Like you said, it’s the politicians’ fault for having open borders. If they didn’t want people to come in they could just stop letting them in. I mean of course ALL people, not just the ethnic groups you don’t like. That would be RAYSISS -

2019-03-15 at 12:38 PM UTCWhether or not immigrants/refugees assimilate is a matter of how the government handles it. You can't just "choose" to integrate, integration is the result of a variety of factors.
For example, in America there is no cultural enclave problem. There are areas like Chinatown where you will find communities that still have some people who don't speak English etc for example but the vast majority of ethnically Han Chinese people in the US are just... leading lives as Americans. Chinatown itself isn't a problem in any way because it emerged from the bottom up, created by Chinese people on America.
Whereas if you take a thousand refugees and drop them into a new town in closely proximal government housing, what do you expect is going to happen?
Also remember not to conflate immigrants and refugees. -
