    THere was a major purging of users prior to the final ending of the site. It was through a personal connection I made and stayed in touch with that I was told about this forum.

    I went on a couple of dates from DH before I knew about or found the forums. After the forums I met up with several posters I became true friends with. In fact, I am still in 'real life' contact with most of them and still speak with them frequently-- just spoke to Bette (midibette) for a couple hours a few days ago, txt'd with Wickedrider, just recently.... he may be heading my way for a short visit, and left a msg. checking in on Ms. HelloKitty, cuz she's been sick.
    
    DH wasn't just some flute dating, or "un" dating site. Some of us actually made genuine friendships off there.
